Claudinho Trancoso started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute José Carlos Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Cosme lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cachinaoa EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Os LargadoS N.A.S. a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dedê Rossi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cachinaoa EC's Dadá Costa. 0-1. When José Carlos Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s protests and gave José Carlos Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, José Carlos Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseu Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Salgado having to interfere. José Carlos Vieira scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dadá Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Salgado having to interfere. Percival Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Percival Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Percival Fontes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Dedê Rossi took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Costa. Dadá Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dadá Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Vieira in the 39th minute of play. Claudinho Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dadá Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Álvaro Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dadá Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Paulo José Guerra got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Kléberson Arce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Salgado skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Os LargadoS N.A.S. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dedê Rossi hit a great ball. Cachinaoa EC's Dadá Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Trancoso in the 58th minute of play. Dadá Costa was a little too slow when José Carlos Vieira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-5. 67 minutes into the match, Cachinaoa EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Rossi came free, but Dadá Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Sarmento's late challenge caught a Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joélson Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Cachinaoa EC got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Sarmento. 73 minutes into the match, Cachinaoa EC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Trancoso came free, but Dadá Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Trancoso in the 78th minute of play forced Cachinaoa EC's goalkeeper Dadá Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Rossi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Dadá Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os LargadoS N.A.S.. Dadá Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Rossi in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Cachinaoa EC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eliseu Castro hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, José Carlos Vieira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Os LargadoS N.A.S. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Dadá Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedê Rossi in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Cachinaoa EC's Dadá Costa got control of the ball when Dedê Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dadá Costa made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when José Carlos Vieira sent off a good shot on target. Cachinaoa EC's Dadá Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cachinaoa EC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Trancoso in the 95th minute of play forced Cachinaoa EC's goalkeeper Dadá Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Os LargadoS N.A.S. played a much better game than Cachinaoa EC and deserved their victory. The Cachinaoa EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
