The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florão da América were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Barbie Doll United U23's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mohamed Mané took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Mané in the 19th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Orlando Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme de Souza in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barbie Doll United U23's zone, Guilherme de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Barral came out of the goal and Guilherme de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragolyub Chavdarov in the 31st minute. Gwidon Juchno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Arce in the 33rd minute of play. When Dragolyub Chavdarov came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Florão da América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragolyub Chavdarov couldn't finish the play. Dragolyub Chavdarov hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Florão da América got a freekick which was hit by Mandi Bulín. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After recieving a nice pass, Barbie Doll United U23's Silvério Netto tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme de Souza made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Carlinhos Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dragolyub Chavdarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Orlando Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Mané in the 64th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Orlando Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme de Souza scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bebeto Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barbie Doll United U23 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bebeto Fantini hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Dragolyub Chavdarov made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Barral. Barbie Doll United U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 89th minute, Isaltino Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Barral came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Florão da América's Mohamed Mané. But to his dismay, Mohamed Mané quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Dragolyub Chavdarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar de Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar de Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Barbie Doll United U23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Florão da América fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barbie Doll United U23 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
