Severino Simões came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube do Porto's Okanay Elmas. But to his dismay, Okanay Elmas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Orlando Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okanay Elmas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Severino Simões made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Victor Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ediberto Peres hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Severino Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Okanay Elmas's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Akashicos got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Peres. In the 72nd minute, Okanay Elmas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes, Válter Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esporte Clube do Porto and the Akashicos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Válter Capixaba hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Okanay Elmas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardinho Batista helped the player get up and apologised. Luizão Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Maciel in the 91st minute of play forced Akashicos's goalkeeper Severino Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play Esporte Clube do Porto's Válter Capixaba was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Esporte Clube do Porto getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Válter Capixaba hit a great ball.
