Dorival Trancoso's late challenge caught a Palmeiras de Plantão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palmeiras de Plantão's Zézinho Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Palmeiras de Plantão fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Palmeiras de Plantão's Helge Almkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GUIRICEMA's Cássio Roberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save GUIRICEMA from getting a goal against them. Palmeiras de Plantão played a much better game than GUIRICEMA and deserved their victory. The GUIRICEMA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
