The supporters of Florão da América booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Mané, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Guilherme de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Arce got free with Gwidon Juchno in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Pedrão Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbie Doll United U23 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Orlando Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragolyub Chavdarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Claudinei Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
