Cássio Roberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GUIRICEMA's Cássio Roberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Alvarenga in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GUIRICEMA's Osvaldinho de Lara got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Hermínio Matos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio Roberto skillfully saved the ball. But to his dismay, Cleiton Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
