Guilherme de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 19th minute of play forced Ferroviaria de Araraquara's goalkeeper Luisinho Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ferroviaria de Araraquara defense, Guilherme de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisinho Lima. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Oliveira in the 38th minute of play forced Florão da América's goalkeeper Gwidon Juchno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Oliveira was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir do Valle was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Mohamed Mané shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Acácio Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwidon Juchno was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Ferroviaria de Araraquara's Daniel Quintal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tostão Medeiros, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Dragolyub Chavdarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 played minutes Ferroviaria de Araraquara got a freekick which was hit by Silas Veiga. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferroviaria de Araraquara's goalkeeper Luisinho Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Ferroviaria de Araraquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Guilherme de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florão da América's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
