Stellan Bergqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Lingren's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Mikael Lingren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stellan Bergqvist was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 5th minute Mogi FC - DMZ- were awarded a corner. Pedro Geromel went to the cornerflag to take it. Diguinho Freire thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Stellan Bergqvist, a very annoying self made goal in the 6th minute which led to 1-0. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind RapidZ's goalkeeper Stellan Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match Mogi FC - DMZ- got a corner. RapidZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Geromel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Geromel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stellan Bergqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute Mikael Lingren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Lingren in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stellan Bergqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, RapidZ's Stellan Bergqvist got control of the ball when Mikael Lingren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Mikael Lingren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stellan Bergqvist. The goal made the score 2-0. With his leg Stellan Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Mogi FC - DMZ-'s Mikael Lingren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes into the game, Tadeu Custódio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Stellan Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RapidZ's players were relieved. 46 minutes into the match, RapidZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Lingren came free, but Stellan Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stellan Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Oliveira in the 54th minute of play. Virgílio Koehler's late challenge caught a Mogi FC - DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, RapidZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Lambourne kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Paulo José Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Breckenfeld in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Lingren in the 64th minute of play forced RapidZ's goalkeeper Stellan Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stellan Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Lingren in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikael Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Diego Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mogi FC - DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Pombal couldn't finish the play. Pedro Geromel's late challenge caught a RapidZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Geromel helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Geromel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Mogi FC - DMZ-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
