Quiroga F.C.'s Juninho Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Trancoso in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Abelardo Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiroga F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Beatles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quiroga F.C.'s Abelardo Pinho got a free kick in the 17th minute. Carlos Eduardo Batista hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The long shot by Doru Lițu in the 19th minute really tested Juninho Porto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Doru Lițu lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Juninho Porto. 25 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Trancoso came free, but Juninho Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takis Koutsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Veiga in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Quiroga F.C. were awarded a corner. Dadá Massa went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 28th minute, Róbson Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Doru Lițu took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Juninho Porto to make any attempt to save it.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton Cunha got free with Takis Koutsos in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Beatles made a substitution. Frederico Messias replaced Zeca Brodel. The Beatles's Arthur Simão was substituted for Eusébio Lopes. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Beatles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Takis Koutsos, was totally fooled by Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 81 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Messias came free, but Juninho Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Róbson Simões made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Porto. Quiroga F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. 85 minutes into the match, Hernani Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Porto. Quiroga F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernani Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amauri Veiga during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Quiroga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Veiga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Medeiros in the 93rd minute of play forced Quiroga F.C.'s goalkeeper Juninho Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Reinaldo Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Beatles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. The Beatles's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
