An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Vale in the 15th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Olsman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. But to his dismay, Jacinto de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Muhammad Lim kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. André Olsman was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Jacinto de Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto de Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by PIRATAS TFP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafinha Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Raining Blood's players had a chance to rest. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Vale made a kick off. Oséas Mendonça made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Doni Bueno. Jacinto de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Olsman having to interfere. Raining Blood's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
