Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Medgyesi in the 15th minute of play. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ricart Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Fernando Camavinga in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ricart Futebol Clube's Mamede Alves. Fernando Camavinga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihály Medgyesi made a kick off. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Medgyesi in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias do Nascimento in the 60th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Zé Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
