The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Guerreiros da Bola FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rollin Branca hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute Jacinto de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Jacinto de Lara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Guerreiros da Bola FC's Natã Meireles. Natã Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Jacinto de Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Natã Meireles. The goal made the score 2-0. When Clemente Pires came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the PIRATAS TFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Pires couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Jacinto de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natã Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guerreiros da Bola FC's goalkeeper Natã Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natã Meireles was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Jacinto de Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto de Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 33rd minute Jacinto de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Guerreiros da Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléber do Nascimento. The PIRATAS TFP fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute Jacinto de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PIRATAS TFP's Clemente Pires was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natã Meireles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovanni dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jacinto de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Breckenfeld made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PIRATAS TFP's Anderson Lucas. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guerreiros da Bola FC's goalkeeper Natã Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PIRATAS TFP's attentive Anderson Lucas managed to snatch the ball when Giovanni Breckenfeld made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto de Lara in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Meireles saved Guerreiros da Bola FC from getting behind. In the 60th minute of the match Clemente Pires shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natã Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Natã Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristofers Cveigorēns, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Jacinto de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Jacinto de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Meireles. Guerreiros da Bola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Jacinto de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natã Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Jacinto de Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The audience was convinced that Jacinto de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã Meireles was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Guerreiros da Bola FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
