The crowd rose to their feet as Compostela FSCMZ's Jaroslaw Niezgoda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juninho Porto. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. If Chicão Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Chicão Cerezo could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Juninho Porto however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Chicão Cerezo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Juninho Porto to make any attempt to save it. Boruc Poling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juninho Porto came out and tried to block the shot, but Boruc Poling slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 33rd minute. Percival Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Elivélton Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Juninho Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Poling in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Naldo Figueiredo notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Quiroga F.C.'s Juninho Porto. Juninho Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Mattos in the 94th minute of play forced Quiroga F.C.'s goalkeeper Juninho Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Compostela FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
