The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Salgado firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 7th minute Arius Fou were awarded a corner. Thanasis Mavros went to the cornerflag to take it. Wilton Vale scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milton Kikuchi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Ernani Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milton Kikuchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TAQUARI FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Arius Fou's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Pilas took the corner. Amauri Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Wilton Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Kikuchi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Wilton Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAQUARI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milton Kikuchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laerte Messias during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Arius Fou got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Messias. 37 minutes into the match, Arius Fou's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Moura came free, but Milton Kikuchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Wilton Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Ernani Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milton Kikuchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wilton Vale sped through Arius Fou's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Milton Kikuchi. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arius Fou made a substitution. Júlio Lucas replaced Adelino Bertassi. In the 57th minute, Wilton Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Despite this Milton Kikuchi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 83 minutes into the match, Arius Fou's goalkeeper Milton Kikuchi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Souto. With a little luck, Arius Fou's Milton Kikuchi got control of the ball when Manoel Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manoel Mandrak scored 0-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milton Kikuchi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over TAQUARI FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arius Fou throughout the match.
