Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Neiva in the 29th minute of play. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emilio Machado sped through Vila Nova GO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celsinho Capixaba. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Chiquinho Simão put in a rough tackle. Werneck FC - DMZ's Sebastian Kiszkiel was substituted for Luís Coutinho. 37 minutes into the game, one of Vila Nova GO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vila Nova GO:s Celsinho Capixaba showed great skill when he stopped Joélson Amaral:s penalty. Celsinho Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Machado in the 41st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca made a kick off. When Vila Nova GO's Cafu Branco in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Werneck FC - DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Cafu Branco put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Felix Donciu.
