It was a well-played corner which Lino Mota managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, A.D Leônico's Jan-Åke Blomberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Ligers came free, but Dagoberto Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Kambay in the 47th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Dé Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Vatan Kambay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Dé Mello made a huge save. If Márcio Seabra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Jacinto came free, but Dagoberto Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Canarinho Atordoado were awarded a corner. Pontus Ligers went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Canarinho Atordoado's Pontus Ligers to fire away a dangerous shot which Dagoberto Veiga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Anko Krústinov with Pontus Ligers as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.D Leônico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Canarinho Atordoado.
