Henrique Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Moraes came free, but Amílton Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Sport Club do Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Alwege came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Amílton Peixoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amílton Peixoto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Havier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. The supporters of Sport Club do Recife booed when O MOTIVO ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Rojelio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amílton Peixoto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Henrique Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sport Club do Recife's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Penha in the 40th minute of play. Luís Fábio Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Amílton Peixoto came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club do Recife's Anselmo Moraes. But to his dismay, Anselmo Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lucas Alwege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Henrique Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Andrew Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Henrique Prata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yan Penha hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Moraes came free, but Amílton Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Club do Recife's Márcio de Lara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amílton Peixoto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Henrique Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Maranhense during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in O MOTIVO ⚽ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! O MOTIVO ⚽:s Amílton Peixoto showed great skill when he stopped Márcio de Lara:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Moraes in the 61st minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Amílton Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Sport Club do Recife got a freekick which was hit by Matías Mota. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Moraes in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Peixoto saved O MOTIVO ⚽ from getting behind. After 65 minutes O MOTIVO ⚽'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Márcio de Lara who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Moraes in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílton Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sport Club do Recife's Kiko Félix got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Rojelio in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílton Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rdth minute of the game Yan Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club do Recife's Henrique Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sport Club do Recife's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yan Penha was slow to take the kick. During this time O MOTIVO ⚽'s players had a chance to rest. After 85 played minutes O MOTIVO ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Bertoni. In the 89th minute, Matías Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Prata having to interfere. Sport Club do Recife's Henrique Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club do Recife from getting a goal against them. Sport Club do Recife were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of O MOTIVO ⚽ for a fine match.
