The referee showed Durval Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Jumentus Rock Club got a freekick which was hit by Durval Castro. The Febre Amarela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jumentus Rock Club were winning 0-1.

The Febre Amarela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Almeida should have stopped the shot. Jumentus Rock Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
