The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahti Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Nicolini in the 3rd minute of the match. After 6 minutes Montalcino SE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vito Dias who took care of the corner kick. Desportivo Coala's Valentin Ciulei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ahti Isu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Ahti Isu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Perivaldo Paiva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ahti Isu to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th minute Leonardo de Godoi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Montalcino SE made a substitution. Rogério Aguiar replaced Leonardo de Godoi. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Breno Donato got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sandro Jacinto hit a great ball. Vito Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Rüknettin Şahin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 35th minute, João Adolfo de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüknettin Şahin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Desportivo Coala's Ahti Isu got control of the ball when Perivaldo Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüknettin Şahin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Almir Valadares hit a great ball. Leonardo McCord struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Valdomiro Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportivo Coala. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Espiridion to strike the kick off in the second half. Rüknettin Şahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Ferraz having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Donato to maneuver through the defense. Valdomiro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüknettin Şahin in the 65th minute of play. When Desportivo Coala's Rüknettin Şahin in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montalcino SE's goalie prevented a goal. Desportivo Coala's Leonardo McCord suffered a sore thigh after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Desportivo Coala's Humberto Falcão was substituted for Leonardo McCord. After a rather tough play, Montalcino SE's Iuri de Medeiros got a free kick in the 76th minute. A hard shot by Vito Dias from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Valdomiro Ferraz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüknettin Şahin in the 93rd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
