Palestra do Interior's Marzuki Papilaya managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulão Cabral in the 3 minute of the game. Andrézinho Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 6th minute of play. Bruninho Vaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jefferson Damião showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Zé da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bruninho Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bisca F.C's Bruninho Vaz threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jefferson Damião, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 20 minutes Palestra do Interior's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franklin Abraão who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Bisca F.C's corner Franklin Abraão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruninho Vaz quite easily take care of the ball. Paulo Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrézinho Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Bruninho Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafin Criston kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruninho Vaz. That made the score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Neno Ruychev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Bruninho Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Paulo Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Cruz in the 43rd minute of play forced Bisca F.C's goalkeeper Andrézinho Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Bisca F.C's Bruninho Vaz threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Serafin Criston, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Criston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Godoi in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Viana saved Bisca F.C from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Paulo Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Paulo Godoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrézinho Viana, 3-1. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Eugênio Alagoano replaced Moisés Matorin. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. Palestra do Interior's Bruninho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Criston in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 90th minute, Eugênio Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes in the game Paulão Cabral did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Neno Ruychev. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ernani Velasco hit a great ball. Serafin Criston took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruninho Vaz. Bruninho Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.
