The audience was convinced that Endrik Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Catarinense was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Mauro Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Endrik Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Endrik Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Catarinense having to make a save. Endrik Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Fábio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TOP CHUI FC made a substitution. Nuno Melo replaced Jonas Zanette. 77 minutes into the game, Adelino Lima threw the ball into play from the sideline. TOP CHUI FC's Bernardinho Abreu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's zone, Endrik Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Catarinense came out of the goal and Endrik Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Endrik Sousa in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Chicão Motta in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TOP CHUI FC's Bernardinho Abreu. Endrik Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Catarinense having to interfere. TOP CHUI FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
