Cristinel Cioculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Guedes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gugu Tasso having to make a save. With an all-out effort, RECOBA F.C.'s Cristinel Cioculescu threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathias Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Esparza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gugu Tasso was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Cristinel Cioculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cafu Furlans short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Cristinel Cioculescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristinel Cioculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir de Castro in the 90th minute. Cristinel Cioculescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Furlan went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The RECOBA F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RECOBA F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
