Santo Marcos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bo Ros struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Anton Hurezeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football Verde-Amarelo. When Football Verde-Amarelo's Bo Ros in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santiago Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Santiago Futebol Clube's Anton Hurezeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Ros in the 28th minute of play. Omar Ayon got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lorenzo Santa María. Vito Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Anton Hurezeanu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Bueno in the 41st minute of play forced Football Verde-Amarelo's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Ayon made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gonzalo Mangas.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Ove Ödman put in a rough tackle. In the 51st minute, one of Santiago Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santiago Futebol Clube. Anton Hurezeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Ros in the 58th minute of the match. Nico Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Santo Marcos made a huge save. In the 62nd match minute, Football Verde-Amarelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Trevisan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Football Verde-Amarelo's zone, Enrique Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Marcos came out of the goal and Enrique Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Hurezeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Futebol Clube's Arlindo Ramos was substituted for Carlos Santana. The throw-in from Omar Ayon in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Football Verde-Amarelo's Reinaldo Custódio. In the 80th minute, Reinaldo Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Futebol Clube's Quintin Scheiber was substituted for Enrique Arósio. 83 minutes into the match, Santiago Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Secco came free, but Anton Hurezeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Secco struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Anton Hurezeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football Verde-Amarelo. In the 90th minute, Nico Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 95 minutes into the match, Chico Secco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Hurezeanu. Santiago Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chico Secco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santiago Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
