Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Ferran made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Angelsø in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Renato Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Diego Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Correia in the 60th minute of play.
