In the 9th minute of the game, Matías Mendes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Manuel Buzescu fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATLÉTICO BAHIANO's protests and gave Manuel Buzescu a yellow card for diving instead. Izaltina FAD's Natanael de Senna was substituted for Matías Mendes. After 11 played minutes ATLÉTICO BAHIANO got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Buzescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael de Senna in the 17th minute of play forced ATLÉTICO BAHIANO's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute William Angelsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Rosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Sílvio Luís de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Well-Well Waack in the 22nd minute of the match. Well-Well Waack took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luís de Barros. Sílvio Luís de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Chayo got free with Manuel Alves in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Andrade in the 31st minute of the match. Well-Well Waack charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Well-Well Waack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Well-Well Waack got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute William Angelsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Chayo came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Natanael de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Izaltina FAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Chayo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Chayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Izaltina FAD's zone, Angelino Chayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Alves came out of the goal and Angelino Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Luís de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael de Senna in the 56th minute of play. Natanael de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís de Barros having to interfere. Sílvio Luís de Barros made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Natanael de Senna sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natanael de Senna got free with Sílvio Luís de Barros in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Sugar got free with Sílvio Luís de Barros in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when ATLÉTICO BAHIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. SK Landers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Benito Lain sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luís de Barros skillfully saved the ball. Sílvio Luís de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Well-Well Waack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Izaltina FAD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ATLÉTICO BAHIANO throughout the match.
