Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelinho Lopez got the match started through his kick off. Gato Morto were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Anderbye FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tihomir Donevski took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Anderbye FC's goalie and right to Renan Leme. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Anderbye FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 12 minutes into the match, Gato Morto's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Ferraz came free, but Patrick Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Tajo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Patrick Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Trevisan in the 14th minute of the match. Gugu Vinhas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Ander Bye when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 19 minutes of play, Gato Morto's Gugu Vinhas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ander Bye was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elivélton Ferraz scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Trevisan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Arantes was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Gugu Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Tage Stenseth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Gato Morto's Renan Leme got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute of the match Gato Morto got a corner. Anderbye FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tihomir Donevski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Gato Morto's Renan Leme getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 44 played minutes Gato Morto got a freekick which was hit by Tage Stenseth. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Yuri Reis's late challenge caught a Gato Morto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute of the match Tihomir Donevski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ander Bye showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcelinho Lopez might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ander Bye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelinho Lopez ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Lopez came free, but Ander Bye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderbye FC's Ander Bye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Vinhas in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anderbye FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tihomir Donevski was slow to take the kick. During this time Gato Morto's players had a chance to rest. In the 79th match minute, Gato Morto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Anderbye FC's Wanderson Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Gugu Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ander Bye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Passos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ander Bye didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelinho Lopez went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute Gugu Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ander Bye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Vianna to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Marcelinho Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Ander Bye. Anderbye FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1.
