Laerte Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Säfström having to make a save. If Wanderson Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Poalelungi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, LaEle1000vezes's Romário Palmeira got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Matorin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Säfström saved LaEle1000vezes from getting behind. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Olavo Matorin sped through LaEle1000vezes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Säfström. Roger Säfström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Lucas in the 35th minute. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Falcão in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, LaEle1000vezes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Costa to maneuver through the defense. Laerte Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Passos to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute David Poalelungi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 宋义辰 to make the kick off. Roger Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Matorin in the 87th minute of the match. Olavo Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Säfström having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Montevideo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
