Spectators: 7953 (Terracing: 5966, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) With a little luck, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Valdo Salles got control of the ball when Júnior de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júnior de Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Valdo Salles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Glenn Ottaway managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Brasileiros Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Glenn Ottaway was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anísio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdo Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Dante in the 10th minute. When Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Júnior de Moraes in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Glenn Ottaway notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza. Anísio Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glenn Ottaway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Ottaway came free, but Anísio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Aster Brasil Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Botelho to maneuver through the defense. When CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Valdo Salles made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Júnior de Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Wesley Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdo Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júnior de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Tomás Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glenn Ottaway was the one to do the kick off. Anísio Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Ottaway in the 65th minute of play. Valdo Salles came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Wesley Dante. But to his dismay, Wesley Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Wesley Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalie prevented a goal. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CA Brasileiros Juniors made a substitution. Tião Meireles replaced Waldemar Breckenfeld. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Mazinho Gol was substituted for Glenn Ottaway. Mazinho Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anísio Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Valdo Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 85th play minutes Júnior de Moraes shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Valdo Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. 88 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalkeeper Anísio Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Gol. CA Brasileiros Juniors were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Aster Brasil Futebol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rubens Proença took the corner. The corner ended in Rubens Proença almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza did a great save. 92 minutes into the game, Wesley Dante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Brasileiros Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Aster Brasil Futebol Club getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Wesley Dante hit a great ball. After some careless play in the CA Brasileiros Juniors defense, Júnior de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo Salles. The CA Brasileiros Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo Salles should have stopped the shot.
