The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duarte Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José-Luis Chilavert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. José-Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Cabezon got free with Arthur Bufi in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bueno in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Brock Friend got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arthur Bufi made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jardel Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. José-Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Friend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bueno in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bueno in the 37th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Arthur Bufi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 余永川 to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Jardel Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Ramón Aguiar replaced Wágner Torres. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duarte Félix was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Dante hit a great ball. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 余永川 in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Luis Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the game, 余永川 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. José-Luis Chilavert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bueno came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gu Yi Sen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ye Hong Shi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but José-Luis Chilavert made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bueno came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
