Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulk Bolt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Guga Trancoso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Galo na Veia FC™'s Victor Čech. Victor Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the game, Baturhan Oytun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Victor Čech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried Spaniol came free, but Serginho Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hulk Bolt. Demis Katsarolidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Guga Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galo na Veia FC™'s Victor Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Wilfried Spaniol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfried Spaniol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PIAUÍ FC's Serginho Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save PIAUÍ FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulk Bolt in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Nogueira saved PIAUÍ FC from getting behind. Victor Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Trancoso in the 33rd minute of the match. Serginho Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Hulk Bolt sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Freitas came free, but Victor Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The Galo na Veia FC™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PIAUÍ FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baturhan Oytun made a kick off. When Umberto Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo na Veia FC™'s protests and gave Umberto Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. Umberto Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Galo na Veia FC™'s Hulk Bolt in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PIAUÍ FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Hulk Bolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PIAUÍ FC's Serginho Nogueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guga Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Victor Čech made a huge save. Amauri Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. PIAUÍ FC's Demis Katsarolidis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victor Čech but with some difficulty. If Baturhan Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Spaniol in the 72nd minute of play forced PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Stamen Ringov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo na Veia FC™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIAUÍ FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Stamen Ringov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PIAUÍ FC made a substitution. Gilvan Azevedo replaced Renato Sá. PIAUÍ FC's Víktor Santos was substituted for Richard Albuquerque. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Victor Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Paulo Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hulk Bolt came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Galo na Veia FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hulk Bolt couldn't finish the play. Victor Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Gøl in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Bolt in the 80th minute of play forced PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when PIAUÍ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Gøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo na Veia FC™'s Victor Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Galo na Veia FC™ from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Galo na Veia FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Moreno to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Victor Čech made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Mete Gøl sent off a good shot on target. PIAUÍ FC played a much better game than Galo na Veia FC™ and deserved their victory. The Galo na Veia FC™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
