After 11 minutes of play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pancracio Paniagua was left in no man's land by his defense there! POPULAR F.C's Maicon de Godoi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matheus Silva, made in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maël Zapata to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Cordeiro in the 16th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atacan Rahim, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Pancracio Paniagua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus de Godoi in the 19th minute of the match. If Valdomiro Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilson Cordeiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elite™- FC Galácticos! When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, POPULAR F.C's Gilson Cordeiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jerônimo da Cunha. Pancracio Paniagua came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim. But to his dismay, Atacan Rahim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Atacan Rahim made the kick off in the second half. Matheus Silva hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Valdomiro Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jerônimo da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POPULAR F.C. Luiz Paulo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle was substituted for Valdomiro Dionísio. A collision led to POPULAR F.C getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Victorio Pabla hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Elite™- FC Galácticos's Décio Rola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pancracio Paniagua. That made the score 2-3 after 76 minutes of play. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute Marcus de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancracio Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus de Godoi in the 81st minute of play forced POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Pancracio Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pancracio Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Elite™- FC Galácticos defense, Frank Moyle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Rola, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, POPULAR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Rola came free, but Pancracio Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Frank Moyle made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The POPULAR F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elite™- FC Galácticos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
