With a left leg Mauro-Facundo Buffon saved Merusca F&P from getting behind. 22 minutes in the game, Róbson Velasco dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Callegari's Jannis Van de Loock managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Danilo Principe in the 28 minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Fellipe Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Róbson Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Merusca F&P's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Telmo Almeida made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Florian Capasso sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Callegari's Jannis Van de Loock got a free kick in the 47th minute. Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. Jannis Van de Loock kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mauro-Facundo Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbson Velasco in the 55th minute. Tiago Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Callegari made a substitution. Wambasther Seedorf replaced Clóvis Proença. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tiago Penha hit a great ball. If Eduardo Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Guerrero in the 74th minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca got a free kick in the 75th minute. Callegari's Telmo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 78th minute of play. Eduardo Guerrero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Merusca F&P defense, Eduardo Guerrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. The Merusca F&P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro-Facundo Buffon should have stopped the shot. Mauro-Facundo Buffon stood somewhat misplaced when Eduardo Guerrero came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 87 minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Felice Cavanna hit a great ball. Walmyr Novaes struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Telmo Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merusca F&P.
