An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Makaay in the 3rd minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Cestarolli FC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. After a defensive mix-up in Cestarolli FC's zone, Roy Makaay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Cestarolli came out of the goal and Roy Makaay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nenko Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Cestarolli in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Makaay. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Makaay got free with Reynaldo Cestarolli in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nenko Reza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Cestarolli's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Roy Makaay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Cestarolli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Cestarolli in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Guo Ao got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson de Mendonça came free, but Nenko Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Mendonça in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Cayuela to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Guo Ao shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Cestarolli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Roy Makaay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Cestarolli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Makaay in the 54th minute of play. Pedro Augusto Vale hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Ruy Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villaverde Celeste Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Tiaguinho Cestarolli scored to the left of an out of position Nenko Reza, making the score, 1-1. Nenko Reza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 76th minute Jefferson de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nenko Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Cestarolli kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cestarolli FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
