The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Porvir FC's Vytautas Butminas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wiliam Simão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Oier Lopez de Toro hit a great ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porvir FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Quirino in the 14th minute of play. Evandro Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Artur de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but João Augusto Soeiro made a huge save. If Edu França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro got control of the ball when Oier Lopez de Toro tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tiago Vidal hit a great ball. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Souza in the 30th minute of play. Wiliam Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Moreira in the 31st minute of play. In the last second João Augusto Soeiro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Diego Souza in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 36 minutes, Pedro Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Vytautas Butminas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wiliam Simão skillfully saved the ball. Rodrigo Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Simão having to interfere. Bruno do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Wiliam Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Moreira in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Quirino to strike the kick off in the second half. João Augusto Soeiro came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Oier Lopez de Toro. But to his dismay, Oier Lopez de Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Gino Moreira could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Wiliam Simão however easily saved by the left post. When Porvir FC's Rodrigo Quirino in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Souza in the 70th minute of play. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 76th minute, but Wiliam Simão got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ hanging dry this time. Wiliam Simão made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Edu França sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Eusébio Koehler got a free kick in the 80th minute. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Pedro Freitas replaced Enrico Palomba. The supporters of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ booed when Porvir FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Juan Aleso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vito da Silveira. João Augusto Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Aleso in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Quirino in the 93rd minute of play forced Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Porvir FC's Wiliam Simão threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigo Quirino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
