When Gabriel Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Relyn Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Orlando Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Gabriel Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas De Gea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 25th minute of play forced Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Lucas De Gea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Velasco came free, but Durval Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Lucas De Gea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 31st minute of play. Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Nunes in the 33rd minute of play. Gabriel Vinhas took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas De Gea. Relyn Futebol Clube were furious when Li Chao Jun was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 39th minute, one of Relyn Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Relyn Futebol Clube. Durval Marinho came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Alberto Velasco. But to his dismay, Alberto Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute Alberto Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Dino Botelho in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Relyn Futebol Clube's Qu Jun Fan.
