After a rather tough play, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Tiago Vidal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Patrick Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Cestarolli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Aleso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Pedro Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Juan Aleso sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. Artur de Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Artur de Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Silas de Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Cestarolli. Reynaldo Cestarolli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Freitas could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Reynaldo Cestarolli however easily saved by the left post. Wiliam Simão came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Américo Azenha. But to his dismay, Américo Azenha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cestarolli FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Bruno do Valle got a free kick in the 41st minute. Reynaldo Cestarolli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Freitas in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Wambasther van Dijk replaced Silas de Brito. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Diego Souza was substituted for Tiago Vidal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Souza to make the kick off. Américo Azenha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vito da Silveira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's Patrick Cestarolli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiliam Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cestarolli FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruy Mello in the 60th minute. It was a well-played corner which Rayan Cestarolli managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. When Vito da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's protests and gave Vito da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vito da Silveira hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Douglas Cestarolli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauan Cestarolli got free with Wiliam Simão in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Cestarolli. In the 92nd minute Patrick Cestarolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiliam Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Cestarolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Patrick Cestarolli scored to the left of an out of position Wiliam Simão, making the score, 1-4. Cestarolli FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
