Marquês de Herval's Bruno Renan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Quirino in the 6th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Dwight Schrute got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Rodrigo Quirino got a free kick in the 80th minute.
