The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radowit Ptaszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Saldanha in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radowit Ptaszek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radowit Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 11th minute of play. Gracie Barra's Olavo Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Akheloos Moundalexakis in the 16 minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Jurupeba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Saldanha came free, but Radowit Ptaszek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gracie Barra's Jamey Hankins suffered a concussion after 20 minutes and had to leave the field. After 21 minutes, Akheloos Moundalexakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jurupeba FC and the Gracie Barra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gracie Barra's Snorri De Hond was substituted for Jamey Hankins. In the 23rd match minute, Jurupeba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akheloos Moundalexakis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Velloso in the 27th minute of play forced Jurupeba FC's goalkeeper Radowit Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akheloos Moundalexakis was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Jurupeba FC's Akheloos Moundalexakis got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Augusto Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radowit Ptaszek. Jurupeba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Augusto Saldanha took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radowit Ptaszek. Radowit Ptaszek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Jurupeba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gracie Barra were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Bittencourt in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Martin Minchev threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gracie Barra's Alessandro Luther quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55th minute, Augusto Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Ptaszek. Jurupeba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 58thth minute of the game Augusto Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jurupeba FC's Radowit Ptaszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Saldanha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radowit Ptaszek came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Saldanha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 59th minute. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Breckenfeld in the 63rd minute of the match. When Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jurupeba FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radowit Ptaszek. Radowit Ptaszek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Gracie Barra's Nilton Botelho was substituted for Pedro Velloso. 79 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Ptaszek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Jurupeba FC's Neymar Junior was substituted for Pedro Augusto Maranhense. Jurupeba FC made a substitution. Thorkil Husig replaced Kauan Bittencourt. Augusto Saldanha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Ptaszek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The Gracie Barra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gracie Barra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
