The supporters of Independente AC booed when PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Figueiredo in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute Anthon Mellbad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garnier Rusterholz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamber Aktaş's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Camillo Sciarretta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garnier Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Independente AC got a corner. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermínio Figueiredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Independente AC's Camillo Sciarretta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Garnier Rusterholz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamber Aktaş in the 24th minute of play. Hao Le Xuan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Garnier Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 31st minute of play forced Independente AC's goalkeeper Cássio Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldão Fenomeno during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Fenomeno. After some careless play in the PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- defense, Kamber Aktaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garnier Rusterholz. The PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garnier Rusterholz should have stopped the shot. After the first half Independente AC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Garnier Rusterholz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Silvinho Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wang Guang Wei hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Garnier Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 66 minutes in the game, Camillo Sciarretta dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Garnier Rusterholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Wang Guang Wei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Silvinho Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garnier Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Anthon Mellbad got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Independente AC's Hermínio Figueiredo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ronaldão Fenomeno struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cássio Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-. Sebastiaan Dijkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garnier Rusterholz having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Garnier Rusterholz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvinho Corrêa. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Garnier Rusterholz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
