Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Senna in the 5th minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Senna in the 6th minute of play. Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barbaros Seçkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Válbson Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Kruuse in the 9th minute of the match. S.C. Corinthians Paulista were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after SRP-Laguna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurício Rodrigues took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Kruuse in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válbson Cunha saved SRP-Laguna from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Johannes Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Kruuse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Artur Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fırat Aytekin was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Válbson Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Kruuse in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Kruuse to strike the kick off in the second half. Johannes Kruuse scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válbson Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Frasier Crane replaced Artur Senna. With a little luck, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin got control of the ball when Frasier Crane tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute SRP-Laguna were awarded a corner. Manuel Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Cunha having to interfere. Fırat Aytekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frasier Crane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, S.C. Corinthians Paulista could leave the field as winners, despite SRP-Laguna having more of the ball for most of the match.
