Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Futuros FC's Krakaca Neto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Deng Yue Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Xun Kang in the 7th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krakaca Neto. 15 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epaminondas Baba came free, but João Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Futuros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stéphane Ballon took the corner. João Carlos Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epaminondas Baba in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krakaca Neto got free with Petr Čech in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute of the match Futuros FC got a corner. Batalhão do Peçanha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís Furtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Futuros FC's Pedro Luís Furtado to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lucas Hernández recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krakaca Neto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved Batalhão do Peçanha from getting behind. In the 32ndth minute of the game Krakaca Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Mai Xun Kang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Krakaca Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 46 minutes on the clock, Jens-Ola Gunnarsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. A collision led to Futuros FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lucas Hernández hit a great ball. When Deng Yue Zhen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Batalhão do Peçanha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deng Yue Zhen couldn't finish the play. Deng Yue Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Andrade having to interfere. When Deng Yue Zhen came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Batalhão do Peçanha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deng Yue Zhen couldn't finish the play. Mai Xun Kang scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petr Čech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mai Xun Kang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 67th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper João Carlos Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Futuros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stéphane Ballon took the corner. Stéphane Ballon made a great header on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner, it was just that Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade managed to reach the ball for a save. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Xun Kang in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Krakaca Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petr Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Marcos Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futuros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petr Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Xun Kang in the 96th minute of play.
