Spectators: 10850 (Terracing: 8139, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oliver Bierhoff started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Patrone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 6 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Leon Oinaz. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Patrone made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roneixon Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Patrone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Leme. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Westerberg. 47 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Pablo Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roneixon Siqueira made a kick off. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Duarte in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Moreno came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espigão Steamrollers's Tiran Centrih. But to his dismay, Tiran Centrih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Espigão Steamrollers's Cristian de Lima was substituted for Betão Duarte. Pablo Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Áron Bódog's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Pablo Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Áron Bódog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Áron Bódog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
