If Rosendo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Murphy FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Angelino Marz hit a great ball. If Arne Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Marz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Marz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Murphy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Marz to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Rocendo might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rosendo Rocendo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Murphy FC's Siro Toro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Rosendo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Bengtsson in the 38th minute of play forced Murphy FC's goalkeeper Eloy Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Gualterio Beltran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guaberto Tebaldo, 1-0. A collision led to Murphy FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Angelino Marz hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Tebaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rosendo Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Osmundo having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Murphy FC's goalkeeper Eloy Osmundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arne Bengtsson. After some careless play in the Murphy FC defense, Arne Bengtsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Osmundo. The Murphy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Osmundo should have stopped the shot. After 70 played minutes Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Donato Elixio. 74 minutes into the match, Murphy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Rocendo came free, but Eloy Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Rosendo Rocendo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eloy Osmundo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rosendo Rocendo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eloy Osmundo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosendo Rocendo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 78th minute. Malvinas Argentinas's Fadıl Cevan got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eloy Osmundo made a huge save. With a little luck, Murphy FC's Eloy Osmundo got control of the ball when Arne Bengtsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Aurken came free, but Guaberto Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Murphy FC's Eloy Osmundo got control of the ball when Hermengildo Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Murphy FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malvinas Argentinas's performance. The match ended with a win for Malvinas Argentinas.
