The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. La Floresta FC's Nunez Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Qwinton in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Sixto Nataniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Nardo. Tiaguas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Nataniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nunez Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Rodolfo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Milian in the 16th minute of play. Marcelino Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Raebert having to interfere. Sixto Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Saturnino Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Nataniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Milian charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Milian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Tiaguas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Milian. La Floresta FC's Sixto Nataniel got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sixto Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Nataniel made a kick off. Marcelino Ofelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Raebert having to make a save. In the 55th minute Marcelino Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Ofelio in the 61st minute of the match. Rodolfo Milian hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Sixto Nataniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiaguas AFC's Saturnino Nardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Rodolfo Milian got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 72 played minutes La Floresta FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Satordi. Marcelino Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 76 in the game by Rodolfo Milian from a close distance when the talented Nunez Raebert managed to make a qualified save. La Floresta FC's players were relieved. When La Floresta FC's Sixto Nataniel in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nunez Raebert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Milian in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, La Floresta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Ofelio came free, but Nunez Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Floresta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Marcelino Ofelio scored to the left of an out of position Nunez Raebert, making the score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
