Prospero Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Chus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Odilon in the 18th minute of play forced Automoto Club Deportivo's goalkeeper Cyprian Plucinik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Silvestre Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Automoto Club Deportivo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
