Edelmiro Fliz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Sergio Silbestre had several of the Baic AC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Edelmiro Fliz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mariano Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edelmiro Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Clodoveo Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
