Luisito Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Serapio in the 16th minute of the match. When Luciano Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Trelew AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Lawrence couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Celestino Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Margarita AFC defense, Melchor Delfino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Claude. The Margarita AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Claude should have stopped the shot. Celestino Rico's late challenge caught a Trelew AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Rico helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Melchor Delfino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita AFC's Gerardo Claude was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Delfino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Elodio got free with Gerardo Claude in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Claude stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Delfino's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Margarita AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Enrique Kismi hit a great ball. Trelew AFC's Mauro Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Margarita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Feliu came free, but Gerardo Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Denis Columbo made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Claude. Margarita AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiburcio Stephen in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Claude prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Melchor Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. Trelew AFC's Luisito Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Serapio in the 97th minute of play. Trelew AFC played a much better game than Margarita AFC and deserved their victory. The Margarita AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
