But to his dismay, Mario Alberto Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Leo Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 minutes, Adriana Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Taquito FCΨ and the CLUB ATLETICO BOCA JRS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leo Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Sedeni in the 42nd minute of the match. Gavino Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Kempes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Sedeni made a kick off. Hipolito Sedeni scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Fe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
