Gervasio Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Mattin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Bartolo Beat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elias Efren. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 21st minute, Bartolo Beat made a precise shot to the right of Elias Efren. Carrera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eusebio Palos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gervasio Berto came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrera FC's Alvaro Mattin. But to his dismay, Alvaro Mattin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chalacea's zone, Matías Bonifaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Berto came out of the goal and Matías Bonifaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th match minute, Chalacea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Beat to maneuver through the defense. Matías Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Carrera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Palos came free, but Elias Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Mattin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Berto having to make a save. Gervasio Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Izel in the 46th minute of the match. When Carrera FC's Alvaro Mattin in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chalacea's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matías Bonifaco made a kick off. If Alvaro Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Valentin Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Berto made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Alvaro Mattin sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Berto was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Matías Bonifaco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matías Bonifaco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, Carrera FC's Matías Bonifaco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Berto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alvaro Mattin came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Carrera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Mattin couldn't finish the play. Chalacea's Gervasio Berto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Chalacea from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Bartolo Abajas put in a rough tackle. In the 92nd minute, Valentin Unai made a precise shot to the right of Elias Efren. Carrera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. If Matías Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chalacea players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
