In the 13th minute Edgardo Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Edgardo Urtungo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tiburcio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Urtungo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Cordearo in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Calvet to make the kick off. Vicente Luzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Millan having to interfere. Tiburcio Millan was a little too slow when Edgardo Urtungo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 63rd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Edgardo Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Braulio Galeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Blackened FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Blackened FC's Severo Rodriguez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiburcio Millan. Tiburcio Millan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Tiburcio Millan came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Blackened FC's Vicente Luzea. But to his dismay, Vicente Luzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Mauricio Regis got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hipolito Calvet. Hipolito Calvet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiburcio Millan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute Severo Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blackened FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
